Solid Rental History

 

This chalet has a great rental history, much of it repeat, so if you are considering a rental, this chalet would be perfect for you. In the past the cabin has rented an average of 21 weeks and in 2014 was rented 25 weeks. Besides the weeks of owner ocupancy, we are VERY particular who rents. We only take one week rentals or more and do not rent to large parties, so we limit rentals in that repect.  On a regular week (Sat to Sat) it rents for $600 plus $66. taxes and $75 cleaning.  Holidays, we charge $700. 

 

 

With the Cherokee Casino coming into Murphy, we have no doubts that the cabin will rent as much as the new owners would like it to....

ABOUT HARRAH'S CHEROKEE VALLEY RIVER CASINO & HOTEL

The dates of opening have been all over the board with most estimates having the opening in July or August. I personally think that means September. Regardless, the Casino will be a huge boom to the area bringing in people form Atlanta, Chatanooga and all areas beyone.

Below is a description of the project. A$110 million project to build a new casino in Cherokee County, NC is officially underway. A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Harrah’s Casino was held in October 2013 at the future site of the facility just outside the town of Murphy. The casino will be owned by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (ECBI) and will be managed by Caesars Entertainment Corporation.

The casino will be located approximately two hours away from Knoxville, Chattanooga and downtown Atlanta and will serve the large and growing adult population living within that radius. In 2011, 7.4 million people age 21 or older lived within 2.5 hours of the casino site. Now, more than 7.6 million people adults live in that same area.

The games featured will include traditional favorites as well as the most popular slot products available on the market when the casino opens.

The casino will create an estimated 900 jobs on-site and inject up to $39 million in wages into the surrounding area.
